Built for Complex Supply Chains

One platform. Every relationship. Zero data leakage.

Cross-Tenant Buyer & Factory Access

One buyer or factory login sees reports from every tenant that links them. Pair-matched on (tenant_company, buyer_name) so suppliers never see each other’s data.

Multi-Office HQ Rollup

Importers with overseas sourcing offices get a single HQ login that consolidates reports from every office — same dashboard, same KPIs, no central setup.

Everything You Need

Purpose-built modules that cover every step of the quality assurance workflow.

Order Book

Centralised order data with webhook integration and CSV/bulk import. Smart Import lets you drop in PDFs or images — up to 10 files at once — and have them parsed straight into the Order Book. POs without a measurement spec land as Pending Review with an amber flag until one is linked — never blocks ingest. Per-tenant 6-digit order numbers (000001) and a total-quantity guard banner when colour/pattern breakdown disagrees with the PO header.

Measurement Specs Import

Import full measurement specifications from Excel, CSV — or drop in a PDF/image and let Iris AI parse points of measure, size sets and tolerances. One spec is reusable across any PO or style regardless of buyer label. Preserves European decimal-comma (21,5; +/- 0,25) and superscript inch fractions (17 ½) end-to-end.

PO-Anchored Measurement Specs

When a PO has a linked measurement spec, the inspection's Measurement section auto-loads it as read-only — inspectors can't pick the wrong spec. If the PO has no spec, the full tenant dropdown is offered.

Admin Controls

Manage teams, defect lists, operations, machines and email settings from one place.

Manager Controls

Schedule inspections, review inspector reports, manage team-member access, monitor the dashboard and extract progress reports.

Multi-Role Access

Dedicated dashboards for buyers, factories and QA teams with role-based permissions. Buyers and factories working with multiple suppliers get a single consolidated inbox across every tenant that links them.

Inline Inspections — Production & Discrepancy Tracking

Real-time defect tracking on the production line with checklists, photos and stage-by-stage progress monitoring — including colour breakdowns and quantity summaries. Defects are logged at each operation station with photo evidence, location mapping and categorisation.

Offline-Ready Inspections

Inspectors keep working on the production floor without internet — checklists, photos, production status and discrepancies queue locally and auto-sync when connectivity returns. Submit, sign-off and Iris AI comments are intentionally online-only to guarantee a confirmed server record.

Production Progress Reports

Admins and managers can extract production status from data captured during inline inspections — exportable as CSV or Excel, or viewed on-screen with actual vs. required quantity comparisons.

Final Audit Module

Attribute-sampling final audit with two standards built in: ISO 2859-1 (AQL, ANSI Z1.4) for a continuing series of lots — the default — and ISO 2859-2 (LQ), Procedure A, for isolated, one-off lots, where consumer’s risk is fixed at roughly 10%. Sample sizes, acceptance numbers and 100%-inspection cases are resolved from the standard automatically, and it tracks inline effectiveness — closing the loop between in-process control and pre-shipment verification.

ISO 2859-1 Switching Rules

The clause 9.3 ISO 2859-1 switching rules are built in as an advisory layer: Normal / Tightened / Reduced severity is tracked per factory, buyer and AQL pair, and recommended before the lot is inspected. Two rejects in the last five lots suggests Tightened; five consecutive accepted lots returns Normal; a sustained clean run earns Reduced. The inspector can override the recommendation with a written reason, which prints on the audit PDF. ISO 2859-2 (LQ) has no switching — isolated lots have no series to switch against.

QA Visit Scheduling

Plan inspector visits with publish-once-then-notify behaviour. Required-field gates (Factory, Inspection Type, Start Time, Buyer, Order/PO) and same-day past-slot filtering keep the schedule honest.

Built-in Barcode Scanner

Barcode readability verification using the mobile camera as a worst-case benchmark, plus a Bluetooth HID scanner mode that drops each scan straight into the sample list. Triple-mode input — camera, hardware scanner or manual entry — with a scan photo and pass/fail per sample. Certified ISO 15416 A–F grading needs a calibrated verifier; we record the evidence, not a grade. Available in the Final Audit module.

Inspector Notifications

Automated email alerts notify inspectors when managers or admins add comments or make changes to submitted reports — keeping the team aligned without manual follow-up. Delivery failures surface in an admin badge; per-tenant routing and always-on recipients are configurable.

Storage Self-Management

Real-time visibility into storage consumption by factory and buyer, with built-in tools to identify and purge orphaned files — keeping hosting costs lean without IT support.

Iris AI-Powered

Iris AI-Powered Intelligence

Seven embedded Iris AI capabilities that learn from your data — no setup, no API keys, no extra cost.

Smart PO Import

Drop in PDFs, images or spreadsheets of purchase orders — Iris AI extracts buyer, style, colours, quantities and dates, and auto-maps non-standard spreadsheet columns to the database schema. Process up to 10 files at once, review side-by-side, and import in one click.

Smart Schedule Suggestions

Recommends optimal inspection visits based on order deadlines, factory workload, and inspector availability.

Defect Photo Analysis

Computer vision identifies defect types from inspection photos with confidence scoring and a feedback loop that improves over time.

Measurement Anomaly Detection

Detects systematic drift and statistical outliers across measurement readings — catches pattern and cutting issues that tolerance checks miss.

Corrective Action Plans

Auto-generates root cause analysis, prioritised action items, and re-inspection dates when an inspection fails or is rejected. Inline-inspection only — Final Audits stay verification-pure.

Dashboard Iris AI Summary

Translates raw KPIs into a plain-English narrative with actionable highlights — one click for executives and buyers.

Iris Comment Composer

Generates professional, data-driven inspection summaries and remarks from your checklist findings, defects and measurements — one click, editable, and learns from inspector edits over time.

All Iris AI features run on-demand — zero idle cost, zero configuration.

Inline-First Quality — Not Audit-Only Theatre

Most third-party quality programmes rely on Final Audits — inspecting the product after it's already made. Deming called this out decades ago: "You cannot inspect quality into a product." QualityIris takes a different approach.

Inline-First (QualityIris)

  • Defects caught during production — corrected in real time
  • Continuous feedback loop drives process improvement
  • Cost of correction: minutes (rework at the station)
  • Aligns with ISO 9001 process control principles

Audit-Only (Industry Default)

  • Defects discovered after production — too late to prevent
  • Retrospective data with no mechanism to change the outcome
  • Cost of correction: days or weeks (recuts, replacements, returns)
  • Gives an illusion of control without influencing the process

"Relying on audits alone to improve quality is like reading the scoreboard to play better — it tells you the result, not how to change it. QualityIris puts the controls where they matter: on the production line."

Role-Based Review Workflow

Digital signatures and comments flow through a structured approval chain — each role contributes at the right stage.

QA Inspector

  • Completes inspection checklist
  • Signs report with factory rep
  • Adds corrective action notes
  • Submits for manager review

QA Manager

  • Reviews submitted report
  • Adds manager comments
  • Signs the QA Manager pad
  • Report remains submitted

Admin

  • Read-only on inspection reports — records stay inspector-owned
  • Internal review comments and manager sign-off
  • Full control of master data, users and roles
  • Complete, append-only audit trail

E-Signatures Built to ESIGN & eIDAS Standards

DocuSign-style typed attestation with full identity binding — designed against the ESIGN Act (US) and eIDAS (EU) e-signature frameworks.

Typed Attestation Signatures

  • Choose from four signature font styles for a personalized look
  • Type-to-sign with a formal attestation checkbox
  • Permanent ink policy — signatures cannot be altered after confirmation
  • Built against ESIGN Act (US) and eIDAS (EU) e-signature requirements

Forensic Identity Binding

  • Every signature records the signer's User ID, timestamp, IP address, and device/browser user-agent
  • Factory rep handover gate prevents impersonation
  • Authenticated user identity logged alongside typed name for proxy detection
  • Tamper-evident audit trail for full accountability

Email Notification Architecture

Built-in transactional email system that keeps inspectors informed without manual follow-up.

Centralized SaaS Domain

  • All notifications sent from a shared platform domain for maximum deliverability
  • No per-client email server setup required — works out of the box
  • Automatic bounce and complaint handling to protect sender reputation
  • One-click unsubscribe compliance built in

Multi-Tenant Ready

  • Each client account maps inspector emails to their own company domain
  • Manager comments trigger instant notifications to the assigned inspector
  • Every admin-mode edit is captured in an in-app audit log; comment additions trigger an inspector notification automatically
  • Per-tenant routing rules and "always-on" recipients (e.g. Order Book factory_email) ensure the right people are looped in on every submit
